Did you know ?

Sambalpuri sarees are handwoven sarees from Odisha, especially the Sambalpur region. Artisans create them using the ikat technique, known locally as Bandha Kala, where they tie and dye the warp and weft threads. Weavers produce these sarees on traditional pit looms, sitting below ground level to achieve greater control and precision.

Additionally, handloom and handmade products, such as hand block prints, hand embroidery, and hand weaving may show minor variations in pattern, texture, drape, or finish. Since artisans craft each piece by hand, these differences are natural and do not indicate defects. Instead, they enhance the uniqueness and beauty of the product.
